The V Festival is an annual music festival held in the United Kingdom during the penultimate weekend in August. The event is held at two parks simultaneously which share the same bill; artists perform at one location on Saturday and then swap on Sunday. The sites are located at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in South Staffordshire. Although predominantly a rock music festival, a wide range of musical genres are accepted; in recent years pop acts have become ever more common.Offering a bill of predominantly commercial acts, crowd favourites, and radio friendly indie upstarts in a party atmosphere. V Festival returns on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August 2011. The official V Festival 2011 line-up has not been revealed. However, it was recently reported that Eminem (who would be joi guitar songs ned by Rihanna for Love the Way You Lie) and Arctic Monkeys would headline the event this year.
